Why Start A Blog

So why start a blog? The simple answer, to give the details.

You see, I like many others, search google for answers to questions. The problem is, we don't always know all the questions to ask or even the existence of a question. If I can help one other person grow and learn a detail, and they can pass it on to someone else, then that's a success.

Schools teach us a set curriculum, if it's not in the book, or we miss that day of class, it's just missed. We may miss a question on a test, but we still pass, we move on. Not usually a big deal, what's the capital of...yeah I missed that Jeopardy question. In another post I'll go into more depth of the site name, but it's a play on the saying, "Jack of All, Master of None". Knowing some tricks of the trade can really save us time and pain.

There is so much information out there, that we often miss the details that really are important. I hope to highlight some of those missed details and get you to think about them in your life. It may be the details of building out your own virtualized server (tons of details!) or trying to lose a few pounds. I've hit plateaus in my life and also learned some very hard lessons that were not necessary...if I had only known some details.
